This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory KPM around 1835. It is inscribed “KÖSTRITZ”
on the front of the cup.
The bottom of the cup is inscribed “KPM” please see pics
There is a hand painted scene on the front of the cup of a sumptuous estate. The painting is precise in perspective. Historical events and architectural achievements were documented for posterity on cups and saucers such as this one. Condition: The gilding on the saucer is bright, shiny, and pretty close to flawless-please check out the pictures.
