Description
The Kan-O-Seat, as it was called, was manufactured by the Stafford-Johnson Seating Corp. of Ionia, Michigan. The piece, designed by Albin Johnson, can be folded to use as a cane or walking stick or unfolded to use as a seat. It was constructed of wood, plywood and metal. This one is in fair condition as you can see the wood part on the seat is weathered. It does work and opens and closes nicely but just definitely looks 80 years old. I think it’s a super cool find!
